Mardi Gras brings King Cake

We never passed an opportunity to celebrate a holiday that involves a cake tradition! We celebrated Fat Tuesday with a traditional Louisiana-style King Cake complete with baby figurine baked inside. Lisa found the “baby” in her slice of cake, though we haven’t yet concluded if that means she is “king for the day”, hosts the next party, or just gets good luck.
