EMBO Workshop: Ghent, Belgium

Dr. Sanja Arandjelovic and Lisa Haney attended the EMBO Workshop - Phagocytosis of Dying Cells: Molecules, Mechanisms, and therapeutic implications. The presentations were held at the Thagaste Monastery located in the picturesque city of Ghent in Belgium. Organized by Dr. Arandjelovic’s former mentor Dr. Kodi Ravichandran, it was a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and discuss very cool science. Sanja, Lisa, and Dr. Alban Gaultier made time to explore the city on bikes 🚴🏻‍♂️
